Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) and conventional hypnotherapy are two popular forms of hypnotherapy that aim to help individuals overcome various psychological and emotional challenges. RTT, developed by Marisa Peer, combines elements of hypnotherapy, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), and cognitive behavioural therapy and aims to resolve deep-rooted issues and unconscious beliefs in a single session (Marisa Peer, n.d.). On the other hand, conventional hypnotherapy usually requires multiple sessions to address a client’s issues and focuses more on exploring the root cause of a client’s issue and using hypnosis to make positive changes (American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, n.d.).

RTT emphasizes the use of customized affirmations and visualization techniques to help clients overcome limiting beliefs and negative thought patterns, which sets it apart from conventional hypnotherapy. The fast-paced and intensive approach of RTT has been found to be highly effective in helping clients overcome their challenges and make lasting positive changes (Marisa Peer, n.d.).

In conclusion, while both RTT and conventional hypnotherapy have their own strengths and can be effective, RTT is a highly respected and effective approach, due to its fast-paced, intensive and customized nature. Ultimately, the choice between the two will depend on a client’s specific needs and preferences.
